We recently had our Boiler replaced by James. From start to finish James did an excellent job. He sent us a quote promptly and was able to carry out the works just one week later. The quote was competitive and the works were carried out in a clean and organised way. It took James about a day to remove the old boiler, take it away and fit a new boiler. He provided us with all the paperwork straight away and registered the warranty for us which came the following day. We are very happy with the service provided and would definitely recommend James.
James fitted a new radiator and Hive thermometer for me in early September 2025. I couldn't fault his service. The work was easy to arrange because he was clear and prompt in his communication. The work was carried out to a high standard, he left the place spotless and explained everything to me clearly. He was polite and respectful. Invoice came promptly. I wish all interactions with tradespeople were this easy!
James replaced my old combi boiler with a new boiler and thermostat as well as flushing out the radiators and replacing all the valves. His quote was highly competitive. He was super punctual and polite , keeping me informed at all times as to each stage and what was happening. Boiler looks great, leaking valve on a radiator was replaced and the leak sorted. Everything was extremely tidy and clean after he had finished. I would highly recommend James for any plumbing and boiler requirement and will definitely be using him again!
Really impressed with James. Prompt at responding to messages, incredibly tidy and respectful of the working environment. However, more importantly fixed a couple of radiators and heated towel rail that have not worked properly for ages despite other tradesmen attempts. Also replaced a couple of radiators that had seen better days and very pleased with outcome. The house generally feels much warmer thanks to you re-balancing the heating system. I will definitely use James for future work and for the service of the heating system. Thank you
We are delighted to leave this review after having a new boiler installed. Initially we chose JCD because of the wonderful communication we received and the booking process. The boiler fitting went through without any hitches and the engineer arrived punctually and explained everything that he would be doing to keep us in the loop whilst he worked upstairs. When it came to explaining the new digital thermostat he took his time to go through everything and the new boiler too. We couldn't believe he was only with us for a day, left no mess and reminded us to call if we had any problems at all
